Weightings applicable in third countries
Article 13 of Annex X of the Staff Regulations
ADDENDUMHaving regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 2866/98 of 31 December 1998 on the conversion rates between the euro and the currencies of the Member States adopting the euro, the weightings applicable from 1 August, 1 September, 1 October, 1 November and December 1998 to the remuneration of officials of the European Communities serving in third countries will be adapted, from 1 January 1999, as shown in the annexed tables.
This adaptation, purely formal, will not affect the remuneration payable in the currency of the country of employment in application with the August, September, October, November and December 1998 weightings as adopted by the Commission and those of July 1998 as adopted by the Council.
