NOTICE TO STAFF AND FORMER STAFF Subject: Correction of the 2000 annual adjustment of remuneration and pensions On 8 October 2001 the Council adopted Regulation 1986/2001 correcting with effect from 1 July 2000 the remuneration and pensions of officials and other servants of the European Communities. The increase is 0.2 % for all places of employment and residence. The resulting arrears will be paid with the November pay. This Regulation corrects the amounts in Regulation 2804/2000 of 18 December 2000, which was unable to take account of the real trend in the net remuneration of Italian civil servants. The correction does not replace the 2001 annual adjustment of remuneration (with retroactive effect to 1 July 2001) which the Council is due to adopt in December.
