Annual adjustment of salaries and pensions

The Council has adopted in December a retrospective correction of pay and pensions backdated to July 2002. The resultant arrears are due to be paid before the end of this year.

The Council has also adopted, as part of the Reform Package, a limited group of transition measures (Annual Pay increase, pension contribution increase and ‘Special levy’), which will enter into force from January 2004.
