Calculation of the bonus provided for
in Article 5 of Annex VIII to the Staff Regulations |

The pension increase referred to in Article 5 of Annex VIII applies to the
period between the first day of the month following that in which
officials reach the pensionable age within the meaning of Article 77 of
the Staff Regulations and Article 22 of Annex XIII thereto until the last
day of the month during which they take their retirement.
This increase is calculated on the basis of the amount of the pension
rights acquired by the last day of the month during which officials reach
the pensionable age within the meaning of the Staff Regulations.
This Conclusion shall apply from 1 May 2004. It repeals and replaces
Conclusion 164/87, which was approved by the Heads of Administration at
their 160th meeting held on 15 January 1987.
