EDUCATION ALLOWANCE 2004-2005

- by all officials/temporary staff members receiving, in respect of their
children, degressive education allowances during the transitional period
- by officials/temporary staff members/contract staff members applying for
education allowance B (reimbursement of registration fees/transport
costs).
If your child is attending a primary or secondary school that does not
charge fees (European School or other) you need complete only the first
page and Section A on the second page of the form, stating the name of the
school and – if applicable – enclosing the requisite supporting documents
relating to transport costs.
If your child is attending a primary or secondary school that charges fees
and you are applying for reimbursement of registration fees, you must
complete the first page and Section A of the form and ask the school to
complete and sign Section B (original with stamp).
Remember to enclose the requisite supporting documents relating to
registration fees/transport costs.
N.B.: FOR ALL CHILDREN REACHING THE AGE OR AGED OVER 16 YEARS DURING THE
2004/05 SCHOOL YEAR:

with the education allowance application an original school attendance
certificate (also for those children attending European School), i.e.

Please note that, from 1 September 2004 (or, where applicable, 1 August
2004), transport costs and registration fees for schools that charge fees
will no longer be paid in advance: following the reform of the Staff
