Transfer of a part of the salary

If you wish to avail yourself of Article 17(2a) of Annex VII to the Staff Regulations to have part of your salary transferred outside your country of employment to pay the education expenses of your child/children, you should send a copy of the certificates of attendance together with the transfer request to:

You should send your application and the certificates of attendance before 24 October 2004 (absolute deadline) to ensure that the transfer takes effect from November 2004.

I draw your attention to the fact that transfers which are executed for the first time for the academic year 2004-05 will be limited in accordance with the new regulations to the amount of the education allowance itself.

However, the transfers currently operational will be maintained (if still justified) according to the conditions laid down in article 17 of annex XIII.
