NOTICE OF INTERNAL COMPETITIONS
HEADS OF UNIT AD9 (COM/INT/EU10/08/AD9)
HEADS OF UNIT AD12 (COM/INT/EU10/08/AD12)
WITH
CYPRIOT, CZECH, ESTONIAN, HUNGARIAN, LATVIAN, LITHUANIAN, MALTESE,
POLISH, SLOVAK OR SLOVENIAN CITIZENSHIP
The European Commission is organising two internal competitions to
appoint AD9 and AD12 Heads of Unit with Cypriot, Czech, Estonian,
Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Slovak or Slovenian
citizenship.

in question (Annex 1), published in accordance with Article 1(3) of
Annex III to the Staff Regulations.
Candidates should register online by means of the links below. The
closing date for applications is 30 December 2008, with a deadline of
12.00 noon Brussels time.
The Commission is also publishing three other Administrative Notices
relating to the organisation of the following internal competitions:
- COM/INT/EU10/08/AST1, Assistants (AST1) with Cypriot,
Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish,
Slovak or Slovenian citizenship,
- COM/INT/EU10/08/AST3, Assistants (AST3) with Cypriot,
Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish,
Slovak or Slovenian citizenship,
- COM/INT/EU10/08/AD5, Administrators (AD5) with Cypriot,
Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish,
Slovak or Slovenian citizenship.
Please note that the tests for the above competitions may be held
simultaneously. You may therefore apply for only one of the five
competitions, otherwise you will be disqualified.
NB: You must choose the competition when you register on line and, for
organisational reasons, it will not be possible to change.

You should print out the form "Description of professional experience"
(Annex 3), complete it, sign it, attach the required supporting
documents and send all of these by registered post, marked for the
selection board's attention, by the required deadline to the address
indicated in the internal competition notice.
You can check the latest news about the internal competition for which
you have applied by consulting
your EPSO profile. Please note that individual information
concerning participation in the admission tests and other competition
tests is available only in the applicants' EPSO profiles.
Please note that the practical organisation of these internal
competitions is the responsibility of EPSO and not DG ADMIN. All
correspondence concerning the internal competitions will be channelled
exclusively through the secretariat of the internal competitions. Please
contact the secretariat of the competitions only if you are unable to
solve your problems by consulting the reference documents mentioned
