Notice of internal competitions

The European Commission is organising two internal competitions to appoint AD9 Heads of unit in the field of interpretation in the Lithuanian (SCIC.A.3) and Maltese (SCIC.A.19) units of Language Departments I and V of Directorate A of the Directorate General for Interpretation (DG SCIC).

The Notice of internal competitions (Annex 1) is published in accordance with Article 1(3) of Annex III to the Staff Regulations.

The closing date for applications is 30 April 2010.

Candidates should print out the Application Form (Annex 2), fill it in, sign it, attach the required supporting documents and send all of these by registered post, marked for the selection board's attention, by the required deadline according to the procedure described in point IV of the competition notice.

The "Competitions/Selections" page of the HR & Administration website provides candidates with additional information on the selection procedure and with the latest news about the internal competition for which they have applied.

All correspondence concerning the internal competitions will be channelled exclusively through the secretariat of the internal competitions. Please contact the secretariat of the internal competition only if you are unable to solve your problems by consulting the reference documents mentioned above.
