Subject: Annual adjustment of salaries and pensions 2001 Pursuant to Annex XI to the Staff Regulations ("the Method"), on 18.12.2001 the Council adopted the Commission proposal adjusting salaries and pensions, backdated to 1 July 2001(1) (see table of basic salaries). For Brussels and Luxembourg the adjustment is 3,7% (3,1% for the cost of living in Brussels and 0,6 % for national civil servants' purchasing power).
