invite parents wishing to enrol their children for the next school year
(commencing September 2007) to submit their application between
Monday,26th February and Friday 23rd March 2007.
The enrolment forms must be addressed to one of the schools. This year,
for the first time, the final decisions concerning the registration
requests will be made by the Central Enrolment Authority of the schools in
Brussels on the basis of the lists prepared by the Directors of the four
schools.
These forms can be obtained from the school
secretariats and from the "Bureau d'Accueil" of the European
Commission (ADMINFO,
tel.: (32-2) 29 66600, rue Van Maerlant 18 - 0/1 in Brussels-
site), and
also from the Personnel or Social Services departments of the European
Union Institutions.

- DISTRIBUTION OF PUPILS BETWEEN THE FOUR SCHOOLS
The SWALS (Students Without A Language Section)
will be registered in the English, French or German sections.
Brussels I: |
Danish, English,
French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and Spanish sections. |

pupils of Maltese and
Slovenian nationality; pupils of Bulgarian and Romanian
nationalities for which the level of study does not exist in
Brussels IV. |

section (nursery and primary). |

Opening hours of the secretariats of the schools:
from Monday to Friday from 9h00 until 12h00 and from 14h00 until 16h00
(except Wednesday afternoon).
- PUPILS ALREADY ENROLLED IN THE SCHOOL
Children who attended the school during the school year 2006/2007 will
be automatically enrolled in the same school for the school year
2007/2008.
Children in the final year of the nursery and who meet the age
requirement, go automatically into the first year of the primary cycle
of the same school.
- AGE OF ADMISSION
- Nursery
In order to be admitted into the nursery school, a pupil must reach the
age of 4 during the calendar year in which he starts school.
- 1st year primary
In order to be admitted into the first year of the primary school, a
pupil must reach the age of 6 during the calendar year in which he
starts school.
- Higher Classes
Admission into the upper classes is generally subject to the same
requirements, the age increasing with the age requirement of each class.
