REMINDER – Deadline for applications for transfer of pension rights acquired in the UK and Irish state pension schemes

This Administrative Notice serves as reminder for those members of staff who acquired pension rights within the state pension schemes in the United Kingdom (Department for Work and Pensions) and in Ireland (Department of Social and Family Affairs), with regard to the deadline for submitting applications for the transfer of these pension rights to the pension scheme of the European Communities' Institutions.

We would like to draw your attention to the contents of Administrative Notice No 56/2008, published on 19 December 2008.

Applications from the members of staff concerned must be registered by the department responsible in the Commission or in the relevant Community agency by 18 June 2009 at the latest.
