CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE, 2009 EXERCISE: List of the 120 officials authorised
to follow This Administrative Notice concerns the 241 officials whose
applications to the 2009 certification exercise have been pre-selected.
Following publication of the draft list of the 113 best-ranked pre-selected candidates (Administrative Notice 17-2010 of 10 March 2010), pre-selected candidates who disputed the ranking obtained could make a substantiated appeal to the Joint Committee for the certification procedure. At its meeting held on 21 April 2010, the Joint Committee issued an opinion on each of the appeals lodged. Officials who appealed may consult their "Certification" file in Sysper 2 to see the response of the Appointing Authority to their appeal. This information is accessible by clicking on the "Summary" tab under "File history". Article 90(2) of the Staff Regulations permits a complaint to be made against the decision of the Appointing Authority. How to do this is explained at http://myintracomm.ec.europa.eu/hr_admin/en/appeals/Pages/index.aspx. The final list of 120 officials authorised to follow the training programme in 2010 is published in Annex. This number exceeds the number of officials (110) to be authorised to follow the training programme as per Appointing Authority decision of 14 October 2009 (Administrative notice 64-2009) by:
The 120 officials whose names are listed in Annex are authorised to follow the training programme to be run in 2010 by the European Administrative School (EAS), to which the Commission has delegated the definition and organisation of the inter-institutional training programme. Officials included in the list in Annex who take parental leave under Article 42a of the Staff Regulations, family leave under Article 42b or maternity leave under Article 58, before or during the period of the training programme, will be authorised, if they so wish, to postpone the training until the following year without having to reapply. The training programme will take place in Brussels and Luxembourg and will be organised in English and French. A sufficient level of linguistic knowledge is essential given that no official will be allowed to follow the training programme in his/her principal language. The candidates authorised to follow the training programme will be invited to follow an information session by means of a video presentation to be consulted on My IntraComm.
