HOLIDAY FLEXIBILITY ARRANGEMENTS FOR 2011

Under the holiday flexibility arrangements, staff may choose to work on Maundy Thursday (21st April), Good Friday (22nd April) and/or the day following Ascension (3rd June). These are days when the Commission’s offices will remain open.

According to the choice made, one, two or three days will be added to their annual leave entitlement.

Those staff wishing to work these days must notify, via their Head of Unit, the Head of Human Resources of their Directorate-General/Service/Office.

Each Unit will be responsible for monitoring the presence of staff on these dates and will, by 31/07 at the latest, send a list of the members of staff who actually worked on these days to the Head of Human Resources of their Directorate-General/Service/Office. The list will contain the names, personnel numbers and the dates concerned, and will also specify whether half days or full days were worked.

The Commission reserves the right to modify the decisions, should the needs of service so require.
