Annual medical check-up and further tests 1999 On 03.03.1999, the appointing authority took the following decision:Medical fees for an official's 1999 annual check-up shall be reimbursed up to a maximum of 39,66 euro. Prior authorisation must be obtained from the Commission's medical officer for any further special tests forming part of the check-up programme which the doctor consulted requests. The fees will then be reimbursed in full by the Commission. Officials employed outside Community territory who submit a duly substantiated application may be reimbursed fees in excess of the above amount. Staff employed in Brussels should send claims for reimbursement to the Medical Service, BRE2 6/397. Claims for reimbursement for treatment recommended and prescribed following any further tests undertaken as a result of the check-up should be sent to the Sickness Insurance Claims Office in the normal way. | |
