Administration approved Conclusion 237/05 (see annex), which is applicable

Education allowance as referred to in Article 3(1) of Annex VII
to the Staff Regulations Interpretation of the concept of regular full
time attendance at an education establishment (first subparagraph) |
- The Heads of Administration regard the requirement of “full time”
attendance at a primary or secondary school or establishment of higher
education, which is applicable, pursuant to the first subparagraph of
Article 3(1) of Annex VII to the Staff Regulations, for the purposes of
entitlement to the education allowance, as satisfied:
- The Heads of Administration regard the requirement of “regular” attendance
at a primary or secondary school or at an establishment of higher
education as satisfied if the attendance of the pupil or student is for a
period of studies of at least three months.
This Conclusion shall apply from 1 May 2005.
It replaces Conclusion 166/87, which was approved by the Heads of
Administration at their 160th meeting on 15 January 1987.
