EARLY RETIREMENT WITHOUT A REDUCTION OF PENSION RIGHTS, 2009 EXERCISE

LIST OF OFFICIALS WHO QUALIFY

On 6 May 2009 the Appointing Authority adopted:

• a list, in alphabetical order, of the 44 officials who qualify for early retirement within the 2009 exercise without a reduction of pension rights;
   
• a reserve list of 10 officials, in order of priority, who may be eligible if one or more of the 44 selected applicants withdraws. In a reversal of previous practice, following an opinion issued by the European Data Protection Supervisor, the reserve list will not be published, for data protection reasons.

This decision is in line with the Staff Regulations (Article 9(2), Annex VIII) and the General Implementing Provisions contained in the Commission decision C(2004) 1588 of 28 April 2004, as amended by the Commission decision of 10 August 2006.
