RECLASSIFICATION EXERCISE for 3a TYPE CONTRACT STAFF –
LIST OF CONTRACT STAFF RECLASSIFIED IN
2009
This Administrative Notice concerns the list of Contract Staff to be
reclassified in 2009, and is a follow-up to
Administrative Notice No 66-2009 / 23.10.2009
The Decision by the Authority Responsible for Concluding Contracts of
Employment (Appointing Authority)
The Appointing Authority has compared merit, pursuant to Article 87(3) of
the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants (CEOS). As explained in the
above-mentioned Administrative Notice, this comparison has been done using
existing reports and other comparable data sources and information.
It should be recalled that during the preparatory phase of the comparison
of merit and the actual decision, the Appointing Authority brought in, on
its own initiative, two advisory bodies - DGs and services and a Joint
Reclassification Committee.
Following the work of the Joint Reclassification Committee, the Appointing
Authority has decided upon the list of contract agents to be reclassified
in 2009.
The list — by grade — of contract agents
reclassified is in annex.
Submitting a complaint under Article 90(2) of the Staff Regulations
Contract Staff whose names do not appear on the list of reclassified
contract staff and who wish to do so may appeal against the Appointing
Authority's decision by lodging a complaint about the decision not to
reclassify them in accordance with Article 46 of the CEOS and Article
90(2) of the Staff Regulations, which is applicable by analogy. You have 3
months in which to appeal from the date when this Administrative Notice,
together with the list of reclassified Contract Staff, is published.
The practical aspects of lodging a complaint are explained in
Administrative Notice No 28-2006 /
18.06.2006 and on the following page:
