AWARD OF PRIORITY POINTS IN RESPECT OF 2004 TO OFFICIALS
OF GRADES A*12, B*10, C*6 AND D*4
PUBLICATION OF THE PRIORITY POINTS AWARDED TO EACH
OFFICIAL
The general provisions for implementing Article 45 of the
Staff Regulations (“the general implementing provisions”), adopted by the
Commission on 23 December 2004, stipulate that priority points are to be
awarded in respect of 2004 to officials of grades A*12 (ex A/4, LA/4),
B*10 (ex B/1), C*6 (ex C/1) and D*4 (ex D/1).
See Administrative Notice No 5-2005 of 21 January 2005.
Article 5(7) of the general implementing provisions lays down that
“following the meeting with the Joint Evaluation Committee, the Director
General shall set out his/her formal intentions regarding the allocation
of priority points. Those intentions shall be made known to staff”.
This Administrative Notice serves as the publication of those formal
intentions. In the interests of clarity, the names are presented as
follows:
- only the names of officials receiving priority points are being
published;
- names are listed
by budget, grade, number of priority points and
alphabetical order.
This Administrative Notice covers all the Directorates-General and
Services of the Commission, with the exception of those officials attached
to the Legal Service.
The list for the above mentioned officials will be published at a later
stage.
Officials who wish to contest the number of priority points they have been
awarded in respect of 2004 may enter an appeal to the relevant Promotion
Committee during the 2005 promotion exercise, which will be launched in
May.
