CERTIFICATION, EXERCISE 2006
LIST OF THE 115 OFFICIALS AUTHORISED TO FOLLOW THE
TRAINING PROGRAMME IN 2007
This Administrative Notice concerns the officials whose applications
to the 2006 certification exercise have been admitted and the officials
who launched an appeal because they dispute the number of points they
obtained.
On 26/04/07 the Appointing Authority adopted the list of the 115 officials
authorised to take part in the 2007 training programme under the 2006
certification procedure.
That list is published in Annex 1. The number of officials listed exceeds
110 (number of officials to be authorised to follow the training programme
as per Appointing decision of 2/02/07 lien IA
9-2007) by the addition of the candidates who obtained the same number
of points as the last official selected for each of the 7 priority areas.
Officials whose names appear on the list are invited to consult the
information below on the compulsory training programme.
For further information on the response to appeals against the total
points obtained and on the complaints procedure, please see Annex 2.
COMPULSORY TRAINING PROGRAMME
The 115 officials whose names are listed in the
Annex 1 are authorised
to follow the training programme to be run in 2006 by the European

EAS
website
Officials included in the list in the Annex 1 who take parental leave
under Article 42a of the Staff Regulations, family leave under Article 42b
or maternity leave under Article 58, before or during the period of the
training programme, will be authorised, if they so wish, to postpone the
training until the following year without having to reapply.

RESPONSE TO APPEALS AGAINST THE TOTAL POINTS OBTAINED
Following publication of the list of officials best placed in each of
the seven priority fields selected by the Appointing Authority (see
Administrative Notice 22-2007 of 2 April
2007), officials admitted to participate in the 2006 certification
procedure who disputed the total points obtained could make a
substantiated appeal to the Joint Certification Committee.
At its meeting held on 26 April 2007, the Joint Committee issued an
opinion on each of the appeals lodged.
Officials who appealed may consult their certification file in Sysper 2
to see the response of the Appointing Authority to their appeal. This
information is accessible by clicking on the "Summary" tab under "File
history".
Article 90(2) of the Staff Regulations permits a complaint to be made
against the decision of the Appointing Authority. How to do this is
explained at:
