amending Decision C(2007) 5730 of 30 November 2007 on the exercise of powers conferred by the Staff Regulations on the Appointing Authority and by the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants on the Authority Responsible for Concluding Contracts of Employment

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to Article 2(1) of the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Communities,

Having regard to Article 6 of the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants,

Whereas:

1. On 30 November 2007 the Commission adopted a decision on the exercise of powers conferred by the Staff Regulations on the Appointing Authority and by the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants on the Authority Responsible for Concluding Contracts of Employment.⁽¹⁾
    
2. The delegations regarding temporary staff of the Joint Research Centre should be adjusted. In particular, DG JRC and DG HR should share certain powers of contracting authority, pursuant to a joint declaration by the Member of the Commission responsible for science and research and the Member of the Commission responsible for administrative affairs, audit and anti-fraud, dated 22 September 2009,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

In Commission Decision C(2007)5730 of 30 November 2007 on the exercise of powers conferred by the Staff Regulations on the Appointing Authority and by the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants on the Authority Responsible for Concluding Contracts of Employment, as last amended by Commission Decision C(2009)3074⁽²⁾, Table XI of the Annex “AA Tables/research budget/JRC” is replaced by the Annex to this Decision.

Article 2

This Decision shall take effect on the date of its adoption.
